If what I've heard is correct, we have some level heads that hopefully will prevail. There was a quote attributed to bush that he wanted to launch an attack vs. Iran because he didn't trust future presidents to do what he perceived to be the right thing.
But generals in the Pentagon have pointed to all their war scenarios they've drawn up about Iran. Everyone of them points to massive, massive amounts of casualities.
Not something you want to get yourself into lightly, without far more evidence that you have no other options.
