Just a wild speculation: Does/Has that troublesome machine have/had another VFP app installed on it with an older version of the runtime that matches the fll you installed? Is it possible the new app is using the old runtime?

>I tried the upgraded version (Process Monitor) and wow, there's sure a lot of stuff going on. More than I could sift through. I tried the installation on another win2000 PC and it worked fine so the problem seems to be specific to the one machine. I solved the problem machine by switching to an older version of foxtools.fll. Go figure.
