Those are local ip addresses only and should be the IPs assigned to any workstations attached to the wireless router inside her home. The netgear router will assign those local ips to attached computers via dhcp. The router should have a public ip address assigned to it from the ISP. For example, the first pc in her home to connect to the netgear router will grab 192.168.0.2 and the router itself will have an internal ip address of 192.168.0.1 (usually for netgear products). Anything in the 192.168 is always the default LOCAL ip address range and is NOT visible on the internet. The internet ip address will be something else like 65.... or 172.... etc. If you run ipconfig /all on your pc at work you will see what I mean.

Normally, a wireless router can configure itself for connecting to the ISP but you still must go into it and setup the security (which must be set under the wireless connection properties on the pc as well). That prevents others from hijacking your connection.

Find the correct model number and read the manual. Most are available online. Here is one:
