Very interesting, Hilmar, but my problem is that I have to use the specific HD that has my data on it.
Whie I don't see why one of these enclosures wouldn't support NTFS, I would feel better having someone confirm that they have done it.
cheers
>>As my computer woes continue my thought is to take my data drive from the system and put it into one of those external USB enclosures so that I can extract my data to another system or 2.

>>Does anyone know if these devices support NTFS?

>>While I think it's not a problem, am I correct that there should be no problem installing a 10,000 rpm drive into such a box?

>>Any comments appreciated.

>One of my clients has a 40 GB flash memory - with USB connection - about the size of a package of sweet chocolate or a small pocket book. I estimate the size to be about 15 x 10 x less than 1 cm.
