Very likely, we'll never know any more relevant facts, let alone the truth about what happened.

I prefer to just remember the Drew Speedie we all knew and loved - a character with character.

In the 1990's, I was a Drew 'groupie', I went to as many of his sessions as I could, and had a chance to talk to him afterwards. I didn't know him personally, but what I knew I really liked and admired.
