If you don't get hot writing code in Notepad, you have the great SharpDevelop IDE which is Open Source, and it is even fully integrated with other nice OS tools like NUnit, NAnt, etc. It also supports -aside C# and VB.NET- the Boo language, which you would most probably love. Take a look at it!

The question is whether we'll be able to do that using VFP. And Etecnologia seems to promise that.
