Evelyn,

You should connect the PC using a RJ45 cable, in case it is the wireless that is the problem.

If it still doesn't work you need to make sure the PC and router are on the same subnet. I see you've referred to 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.1.1 IP addresses, which are 2 different Class C subnets. Unless you want to join the 2 subnets with another router(!) you need to make sure the PC has the same first 3 numbers (octets) in its IP as the router. Hardcode your PC's IP address in its network settings- make the IP address 192.168.?.100 or something similar with the same 3 initial numbers as the router.

If you still can't connect by entering the router's IP address in your browser, I think you should reset the router. There will be a little button somewhere on it that resets to default settings. Then follow the initial setup instructions for your router.

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
