What kind of router are you using? If you have a dynamically assigned ip address, the wan connection should be set to obtain that automatically, and there should not be any dns addresses. If you have a static ip address, then you should have a number in the wan address and the dns servers have to be keyed into the appropriate places. I suspect you've got an issue with your dns router addresses.
