Not saying this as right or wrong, but personally I separate artists' performances from their personalities. I am not that interested in celebrity "news." All I care about is the roles they play, the books they write, the music they make. No one will accuse Richard Wagner or Miles Davis, for example, of being warm and wonderful human beings, but they sure had something to say musically. Dostoyevsky was not exactly a barrel of laughs in person. I don't care.
