You can add custom properties to a form and assign values to them during design time or run time. Go to the Form menu and select New Property. Your custom properties will be displayed on the Other tab of the form Properties window.

>I am performing updates on my code periodicly. To do this I run an update program which does not need to be run again until the next program change. I would like to set a property in a form to on and off depending on wheather the update has been performed. This property would need to stay set after the form & application are closed and re-opened ( thus I don't have to perform checks for update again ).
