It's interesting that you used the term 'bedouins.' Not many are aware of the actual history of Al Qaeda and the role Bedouin tribes play(ed). That is not to say that all Bedouin tribes are members of Al Qaeda (and they are not) but look at the history and you can only see the strong impact.
Simarily, many people (including myself) denounce this administration's support of the current Saudi leadership and its policies (or its constant looking the other way). However, we cannot discount the REAL damage civil war or a leadership upheaval in Saudi Arabia would have on the world.
