You can take this threat "few" of ways.
1) It could be a desparate attempt by them to stop further attacks by the US and UK.
2) It could be a real threat.
3) It could be both.
What if he said "I'll kill you, Mike, and everyone you love"?
One thing is for sure, they will if/when they get the chance.
