I think you're missing the point. We're not used to the concept of paying for treatment. This story is of a kid who needs to go to the USA cos the treatment isn't available here. If I needed to save my kid's life, as I've said, I'd flog my spare organs, rob a bank, sell the house, ... anything to make the money.

It may seem cheap to you cos you're accustomed to the concept, and medicine is expensive over there. Where does the $0.75 m go? When we look at the hospital bill, from my limited exposure to it, everything is down there at inflated prices

- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
