I assume you want to let the user know that there are no recs to print - hence blank report. To save wasting paper, once the print file has been generated (presumably from, say, and SQL statement), you could check whether the cursor is empty (using _TALLY) and if _Tally = 0 display a message that there's nowt to print.

>Using VFP8, I have a single-cursor-based report form with which I would still like to print-out the title-band even if there are no records in the cursor (normally if there are no records the report is not generated). Short of creating a dummy record to ensure the title is printed, is there a neater way of trying to achieve my goal?
