We have an application that runs using VFP7 with a foxpro database. The application and data is stored locally and is used by about 80 users, all working locally. All the routines access the tables directly and don't use remote views.

We are considering extending the application to be used by one of our branches in South Africa and this will eventually add another 120-200 users to the system.

We are looking at using terminal services to allow access to the system but we're worried about the response times with so many users being added to the system.

Has anyone any idea of:
- if this will be feasible
- what the effect will be of 200+ users accessing a foxpro database
- the implications of all tables being accessed/updated directly rather than using views/updatable views
- is there anything we can use to predict the effect on response time

I've also heard citrix mentioned, is this advisable or a must for this number of users?

Sorry, it's lots of questions but not really sure of the best way forward.

TIA
