On my last job I had an Access app without source code (luckily, the data were on SQL server), which I had to remotely drive via automation a few times - mostly to run a few reports. It was very interesting, and puzzling and fun at the same time. It was like finding a bathroom in an unknown house, blindfolded - and turning things on just to hear the sound, until you find the water faucets. But got it to work in the end.
