>So, I said that any text can't be used in pieces and small elements.. to not commit a sin against literature.. this is what we know as take the text from the context.. on any text/thesis the argument is a set of:

How is taking a stated law from the old testament, taking it out of context? A law is a law and stands on its own. You can take the law: Thous shalt not commit murder out of the context of the 10 commandments and it is still a law.

Every christian I know takes bits and pieces of scripture that support their viewpoint and turns it into infallible arguments, unless the heathen does it; then it is picking and choosing out of context.
