If this turns out to be the final version I hope the Sedna people extend the table limit to 'unlimited' before they run away on us. Frankly I don't understand them knocking the slats out from under such a great product as VFP. It smacks of 'platform favoritism' and I don't like it. (And in 2015, I'll be 75 so, I'm happy with what I have.)

>>Exactly. And when VFP9SP2, aka Sedna, is released later this year, the support deadline most likely will be extended. But I probably won't need that extra support either.
>>
>>>The only MicroSoft support I ever used was in trying to get my Legally purchased preinstalled version of XP to register after their tool failed. 45 Minutes on the phone reading 25 digit numbers back an forth with someone who could barely speak english.

>>>>To repeat my answer: so what? I have used FPD and VFP for almost 20 years, and I really don't care whether it is "supported" or not. I still use a few of my more than 15 years old FPD applications, how long ago did the support for FPD expire? I really don't care, as long as they run. The same will go for VFP, with Sedna and SednaX in the horizon, VFP will continue to be my primary tools for many, many years.
>>>>
>>>>By the way, if you contact Microsoft Norway and ask how long VFP will be supported, they will most likely say "Visual what"? They hardly know that VFP is a Microsoft product....! SQL brings in more money, and money is more important than supporting VFP.
