>I just read a column in today's Chicago Tribune that sheds more light on what is actually being discussed in Washington state. Once again it seems the early media reports oversimplified the story in an attention-grabbing way.

I can understand profanity and unnecessary comments becuase when I have my kids in the stands with me, I cringe when some over zealous nut says some stupid.
But either Mike Colbrese is misunderstood or he now backing off from what I heard him say in an interview.

When I was at Texas A&M, whenever the opposing coaching got up from his chair to make his case to the ref, the whole arena, all twelve thousand Aggies, would yell "Sit down bus driver". During the team introduction at the start of a basketball game, everyone in the stand would open up a news paper and rattle it. Amazing how loud twelve thousand rattling news papers can get. That was a lot of fun. Wow, that was over twenty years ago.
The American Republic will endure, until politicians realize they can bribe the people with their own money.
- Alexis de Tocqueville

No man’s life, liberty, or property is safe while the legislature is in session.
