Obfuscation is the next thing on our list.

OK. Obfuscation broke our stuff that used reflection, which is of course its intent. ;-) I'll be interested to hear how you get on.

FWIW, there's more than one sort of protection now. Some of them are similar to Refox in that they encrypt and compress your app, which is enough to block a casual hacker. Many of them also allow you to identify members you don't want renamed, though that can involve quite a lot of extra work retrospectively.
