I see it differently. Actually as opposed to everyone's normal reaction when I get a rejection from a site or a person I always consider this as my personal lost and not theirs. From unfortunate past experiences I may learn that trying to explain and fix things usually lead to a completely opposite effect. Yet I continue to make the same mistakes again and again. And in addition I take it too seriously and get too deep emotionally involved. Anyway, that's just me and I got already too many responses echoing yours.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
