Contrary to your views, the U.S. did NOT hang Saddam. Iraq did and it was Iraqi law which sentenced him to die and used the method of hanging. People are not hanged in the U.S. The problem with the Iraqi war is now - who is responsible? If all of the intelligence was false, did the President know about it? Are the Polish guilty as well? What about the Czechs? What about England? Bad intelligence came from a lot of sources and most Americans believed it when Powell spoke before the UN. Congress gave Bush approval. Everyone is guilty. Bomb America and Europe? If intelligence was intentionally falsified then investigations should take place and guilty parties here should pay the price according to American law.

>>I disagree that Iraq was no better or worse than other similar dictatorships. In many human rights issues, that is true, torture and fear too. Howevever, Iraq used chemical weapons on Iran and its own people. No other country has done that as far as I know.

>So if future brings clear evidence that 9/11 was an 'inside job'
>(as handfull of people believe) ; then an 'Alien invasion' could be justified / start hanging people left & right in Washington ??

>>>Actually, they were a secular dictatorship, no better or worse than a dozen others in South America and elsewhere, that a certain north-American country propped up over decades.
