>Contrary to your views, the U.S. did NOT hang Saddam. Iraq did and it was Iraqi law which sentenced him to die and used the method of hanging. People are not hanged in the U.S. The problem with the Iraqi war is now - who is responsible? If all of the intelligence was false, did the President know about it? Are the Polish guilty as well? What about the Czechs? What about England? Bad intelligence came from a lot of sources and most Americans believed it when Powell spoke before the UN. Congress gave Bush approval. Everyone is guilty. Bomb America and Europe? If intelligence was intentionally falsified then investigations should take place and guilty parties here should pay the price according to American law.

Sorry it was a bit to harsh of a joke ... Did not mean to upset you.
VBG's are not comming any time soon, so Washington is safe :)

US did not directly prosecute Saddam, but court and authorities who did were operating in the area occupied by US, so you can't really say that everything was their own doing without any of US involvement.

As for the link/investigations, Even deepest secrets/hidden things eventully come to light. In this case, problem is how to 'discover' those obvious ones!
But that will come eventually.
