>>>In an esoteric analysis, I guess you might be right. In reality, I don't see how you can separate them. Then again, I won't hardly even take an aspirin, so you might guess my feelings on drugs.

>>Like you, I absolutely hate having to take any sort of medicine. I took 2 Tylenol tablets after a root canal a couple of years ago, and since then, I've probably taken a couple more, but I'm happy to endure a lot before resorting to them.

>I took 1 mepragan after my back surgery and started seeing things that I knew weren't there. That was all of that. Since I don't normally take meds though, they worked very well on me when I needed them for pain and for healing. I almost never take antibiotics for just that reason. I don't want my body to build up a resistance to them. They worked fast on me when I needed them because of that, or so I'm told.

We're a bit the same. Also have encouraged our kids to eat food that they'd dropped on the floor (after a dust off and/or quick rinse if necessary) to intro them to some germs. Kids brought up in too sterile an environment, I understand, develop no resistance to bugs. I have to be at death's door before I take antibiotics. OTOH, I'm not gonna have a pounding head-ache all day when 2 ibuprofen will get shut of it.
