>>I took 1 mepragan after my back surgery and started seeing things that I knew weren't there. That was all of that. Since I don't normally take meds though, they worked very well on me when I needed them for pain and for healing. I almost never take antibiotics for just that reason. I don't want my body to build up a resistance to them. They worked fast on me when I needed them because of that, or so I'm told.

Kids brought up in too sterile an environment, I understand, develop no resistance to bugs. I have to be at death's door before I take antibiotics. OTOH, I'm not gonna have a pounding head-ache all day when 2 ibuprofen will get shut of it.

Oh I agree. I don't mind suffering a little pain. I'm in pain most of the time. The knees and ankles are souveniers of high school football. The back from horses falling on me, getting thrown out of a car in an accident, weight lifting, dirtbikes and four wheelers throwing me into the air, etc. But, if I get the a point that I can't tolerate the pain, I'll usually grab some Naproxin. When I framed my house, I ate them like candy corn!
