But you never know when you might need it...

My dad always hoarded screws, nails, etc in his workshop. He told me when I was a child helping him that you never know when you might need one of these. He must have had a couple of dowzen coffee tins full of the stuff when he died. I know that I inherited that tendancy with books.

I did finally throw away a lot of textbooks from my college days that I know I would never use again as few years ago.
