>>...but we must all accept that MSFT as a company has absolutely no responsibility whatsoever to explain WHY they do their business decisions.

>That's utter nonsense. Corporations have a social responsibility to answer to their employees, their clients, and any other stake holders. This is especially true when corporations have encouraged third parties to buy into their strategies and then those strategies are changed. This requires proper responses to be given to all stake holders, including and especially customers.

OK, we disagree, which I can live with.

>>In this case I think YAG has been much more open and honest that anyone can expect from a person in his position. So asking for even more explaining is simply unfair, and an insult against a person who has given the Fox community so much.

>This is not about YAG. This is about MS where YAG is simply a spokes person for the company. YAG knows this and there is nothing personal or insulting about it. He simply must state the company position and if that is insufficient for the audience then he, at MS discretion, can choose to offer more or less information as the case may be.

Personal or not, it was either YAG or one of his colleagues who posted a message last week where he excused himself that he had to stop answering messages for a period for medical reasons. These medical reasons were caused by too many emails and too much pressure because of the press release YAG sent out. Make your own conclusion, I have made mine.
