VB main focus was not on database development.

I haven't read all the messages on this thread, so I don't know who specifically said this - but when I think back over the last 10 years to every VB system I encountered, worked with, saw,etc.....most were database applications using SQL or some other database, and many used CR or some other reporting tool.
