Not necessarily so. Back in 1990, we had to have our man in Germany buy a copy of FP1.01 for us (for which we had to give him some foreign currency that we officially didn't have), and he got us one with American serial number. I wish I knew where did that one count.

OTOH, we've heard from several people here that their local Microsoft dealers didn't stock VFP for years, so they bought it online or wherever they could. Where did these sales count?
