That'd probably be the simplest workaround. Define, but not necessarily show the window. Also, don't use "preview in window {windowname}" but rather "preview in window {windowname}". It IS different - in the first case, Fox creates new window inside the given window, in the latter case, it creates a window identical to the given window. You can also ZOOM WINDOW before running the report, or define it in any size you want.
