I created the deployment project and only put the MM .NET assemblies in there. Are you suggesting that I should build a program that doesn't have anything in it except a deployment project? Wouldn't I at least have to have a main form?

I can try to create the deployment package on the XP machine but I haven't had much luck getting the VS client to install on it. If you think XP is the problem, I can try it on a Windows 2000 machine and see if I have any better luck. I don't think this client is running XP. I was just using that computer because it didn't have any versions of Visual Studio.
