>>I don't get it. Do you mean that article should say that despite all rumors MS will actually continue Fox development? The article tells the facts and readers are supposed to be intelligent enough to make own opinion. It gives coverage to Masfoxpro effort and shows awkward MS response. What else should be expected?

Well, THIS is naive of you!

Yesterday I visited a customer. After two hours, after having gone through all the details of a design, we had some smalltalk. Then all of a sudden he asked me about "Foxpro". It appeared he had read about it in a national, freely distributed, IT-weekpaper. It was only a column of two or three paragraphs, but it was enough to make him realize that Foxpro was "dead". And there it happened what I had spoken about in my initial request to YAG: I didn't have a good story as I couldn't sum up the real reasons that justify this MS step. I have been as open as possible in this case, because I know this man well and trust him. So I summed up the officially stated reasons and the reasons that we think are the real ones, but do not know for sure. And I made clear that many developers don't agree and try to make that clear to MS.

Now, how will you react when confronted with such customers? Or ís that no issue for you because you already jumped over to some other language/platform?
