Not speaking directly to this case, but that tends to me make the accuser doubtful from the getgo in the eyes of the public and media and justice system (although justice is supposed to be blind). The primary problem I have with that is the simple fact that individuals with a checkered past and those lacking morals can also become victims. It doesn't make the experience of being a victim any less painful.
