I just want to point out that there's no freedom of speech issue here. This is pure marketplace. Freedom of speech is about the government's (lack of) ability to suppress speech. The owner of a private forum has every right to determine the speech in that forum. In this case, the owners (CBS and NBC) decided that the cost to their companies of keeping Imus was greater than the value he brought them.
