Access certainly isn't my first choice but as you know we are working with applications that have to transfer all the data to a pc on the truck once each day. It tends to limit our choices for data. We have used fox but has some limitations for use in the dot net enviornment.

Right...We haven't actually had much requests for supporting Access so it hasn't been on our radar. Have you looked at using VistaDB? It's a great little database (very small footprint). As another alternative is SQL Server Express an option for you?
