I havn't looked at VistaDB but I am integrating SQL Express into one of our apps. My biggest concern is going to be moving the data back and forth as I will have to attach and detatch the databases at runtime. I am going to give it a go however. This app I need to leave with access for now as it integrates with our app running on the scalehouse computers.
Thanks Kevin

>>Well, that does explain it. Thanks Kevin. Access certainly isn't my first choice but as you know we are working with applications that have to transfer all the data to a pc on the truck once each day. It tends to limit our choices for data. We have used fox but has some limitations for use in the dot net enviornment.

>Right...We haven't actually had much requests for supporting Access so it hasn't been on our radar. Have you looked at using VistaDB? It's a great little database (very small footprint). As another alternative is SQL Server Express an option for you?
