It has a play and go subscription which allows unlimited free downloads to your mp3 (up to 3 players) player on a monthly subscription. However, it doesn't work with IPODs. Is ITunes the only way to download to an IPOD? I heard LymeWire may do it... Any suggestions?

For example, if you rip your CD's into ITunes, you should be able to transfer them. If you download MP3 music, you should be able to import that into ITunes and transfer.

>>>That's correct. My daughters use BearShare to download songs. It costs $23.95 per year IIRC.

>I will have to get back to you about that. Am at work and the internet firewall won't let me get to much. Even if it's not legal, I am not too concerned about low volume downloaders getting in trouble. Isn't it still the UPloaders they're going after? If the for-sure legal sites like iTunes charged less than a buck a song I might feel differently.

Check out www.allofmp3.com. AFAIK, it's legal due to some loophole in Russian law. I have yet to see any sort of official notice that it is illegal in the US.
