I did something like that for VFP 3 report. We were connected to a netfinity 5500 running db2.
My problem was something along the line of:
One bank has many branches
Each branch has many officers
Each officer has many customers
Each customer can have many accounts
Each account can have many transactions
Each transaction is a withdrawal or deposit
So I had to do a report of each bank's officers showing the true picture of a customer's transactions and a total of all the accounts sorted by date. And of course, there were over a hundred tables in the db.
It looks overwhelming at first but if you gather the info in a logical order, section by section, it can be done.
