This seemed like the answer, but when I added this to WIN98 system.ini no change occurred. It still takes 60 seconds for the job to appear in pserve whether it's a complex report or a simple list such as the following:

SET PRINT ON
LIST OFF title
SET PRINT OFF
EJECT

The capture statement used right before FP2.0 loads is
CAPTURE TI=2 NB NFF Q=LASER

Any other ideas?
