Yep, it seems the DLR is targeted for cross-platform browsers along with the Silverlight stuff. (Does that mean cross-browsers on Microsoft OS only or really cross-OS -- I've got more reading to do).

However, related to the DLR in the browser, I suppose this means that the same plug-in might work in the Browser Control which can be embedded into desktop apps (Rick Strahl has a cool white paper from a while back on embedding ASP.NET in .NET WinForms apps).

If it can work in the Browser Control as VBScript and JavaSCript can, this could open some very interesting possibilities.
