Naomi,
It's really none of my business and I won't comment again... but:
Please ask Andy to confirm his statement with direct links... etc etcYou won't win this by debate or "proving" your position or by recruiting supporters. Mike Beane has already contacted them and they've clearly stated their concerns. How will you address their concerns? I know only one way- by convincing them it won't happen again. Anything else probably comes across as TROUBLE in all-caps. Up to you, but that's what I hope somebody would advise me were I in your shoes.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
