Thanks Cathy, I know. That is the way it is being done right now for the VFP report, however, for a separate app which runs its own reports, I need a single table. I have merged them manually (it cannot read three separate tables or recognize relationships) into one table field by field in the select statement. It just dawned on me that I do this every now and then so a utility would be handy.



>If you have one parent table and two child tables .. I'd say leave the tables alone and you have a perfect candidate for multiple detail bands on the report. Just open the tables and SET RELATION and SET SKIP and run the report. Multiple detail bands are much simplier than trying to use a bunch of objects with PRINT WHENs scattered through one detail band.
