Hi Marc,

Try running your EXE where the BMP would not exist. You should get a different error message. It's trying to update the actual BMP file which is readonly.

If you want to have the BMP file as updatable, you'll need to exclude it in the project and include (not readonly) in your distribution.

Because if a do CheckOut in Visual SourceSafe of my bmp files, the EXE works fine. And not works at all when bmp files are readonly. It's not suppose, because bmp are compiled like you said. Strange!
