Nope, it won't accept a blank date at all. I even tried " / / ", all to no avail. It keeps coming up with an error that says "You must enter a value in the vd.dop field". I'll play around with this and see what is acceptable, but ti seems it wants a date and nothing else, but I cannot give it a date, if the original data had no Date.

>Can you just add a record with a blank date from Access, then see through your ODBC connection how does it look VFP side? Then just give it the same value when sending data to it.
