>> My test is not "causes division", but rather "improves the human condition or not". We can go into fine details over "improves", but generally I'd go with "more benefits for more people".

>Ah, another definition of goodness. Wow- aren't we mortals good at redefinition!

I know - I sometimes even use class browser to redefine a class to inherit from a different parent.

But then, who else but us mortals?

>> Sowing and spewing hatred over lifestyles, condemning anyone who doesn't subscribe to your school of thought, and specially "send me your money and you'll be the good guys" ranks incredibly low in my books, in the neighborhood of ambulance chasers, insurance, payday loan and credit card issuers.

>You left out politicians, Movie stars, musicians, doctors, lawyers, school teachers, chiropractors, babysitters and lawn care professionals. The only difference is that religious leaders only ask for your money, these all demand it.

Movie stars get their money thrown at them - you don't buy their wares, you don't even hear from them. Musicians at least produce something that may even sound good. Teachers, they may even do some good, if they're good at it and if they love what they do, and I'm not aware that they're swimming in money. Chiropractors... well, I wouldn't know, didn't meet any. I did take my mother to one such bone-setter once, and he wasn't bad, she did feel better afterwards. And as for the lawn care... it's an American fetish I never really understood... but you can do that on your own with not too much trouble.

But these are all professionals who at least have a product which you can use for something. And even politicians can sometimes be forced into doing some good. My list is just con men.
