It's a combination of many factors .. one of which is that the community has failed to embrace new versions and upgrade. Another factor is that MSFT has not marketed it well and I don't dispute that. It's just not fair to lay all the burden on MSFT and I believe that is what Andy and I have tried to say. If others don't get it, so be it. Andy and I are still entitled to our opinions and telling us to "jump in a lake" is pretty unprofessional .. but then again .. that's why the UT has a twit filter!


In fairness, I don't think the demise of FoxPro was due to developers failing to upgrade to versions 7, 8, and 9. Those of us who are technology-driven and committed upgraded. Those who are market-driven in many cases did not.
