We have no way to determine if the theory is true or false.

Those efforts are very much appreciated, but it's the kind of lobbying that is easiest for M$ to ignore and safest for the MVPs. Could they have done more publicly? Perhaps. Me too. It's all a done deal now. My main thrust in this thread has been to rebuke the theory, pushed by Andy Kramek, Marcia Akins and Cathy Pountney, that it's the community's fault that VFP was EOLed because not enough people upgraded.
