It's real simple . . . people don't buy products that aren't advertised and aren't supported. To then blame the people for not purchasing instead of yourself for not advertising and supporting the product is a crock. Are you going to do the same? Are you going to go to your clients and say "Oh, yeah, Mr. Client, it's not your fault people didn't buy your product even though you didn't spend money on advertising or support it in other ways. It's just the fault of those stupid old customers. Don't fret, I'm behind you. Blame the customers is our motto!!"

I hope you're smarter than that.

>>Actually, I don't believe I've said much of anything about what was said in those meetings and I haven't denied that various MVPs have lobbied in favor of VFP. Those efforts are very much appreciated, but it's the kind of lobbying that is easiest for M$ to ignore and safest for the MVPs. Could they have done more publicly? Perhaps. Me too. It's all a done deal now. My main thrust in this thread has been to rebuke the theory, pushed by Andy Kramek, Marcia Akins and Cathy Pountney, that it's the community's fault that VFP was EOLed because not enough people upgraded. I am not alone in my efforts to dispute that false theory. You can read the rest of my posts and those of others.
