I just bought Taming SQL yesterday, so splurge and buy yourself an extra cup of coffee this week <g>. Thanks for the book, though. I had one of those first-record-from-a-child-table queries, and without your book, I couldn't have figured it out. The VFP docs are pretty weak on examples like that.
