Well yes, but I've never had a firm grasp on exactly what I'm seeing in files except for CR and LF's. I've looked at various editors including the sample tool that came with fox but didn't think they were very intuitive.

At your suggestion however, I did some searching and found a really cool one
called XVI32 which I really like and it's time I learn it.

>Don't you have a hex editor? There's one that shipped as a sample app with VFP. You can use that to see what the delimiters really are.
